Operation Market Garden
The Pegasus, the flying horse from Greek mythology, is the symbol for the British Airborne Division. On every single uniform you would find a Pegasus in the colors light blue and reddish brown. That last color also returned in the characteristic berets they wore. This painting honors these historical symbols.
