Drop Zone Z - Airborne Troopers Wolfheze
Busy scene with paratroopers in Wolfheze, the so-called drop zone Z. After the landings, the Germans would fire at the gliders until they burned. At the time this site featured a beautiful villa built in 1931, with a thatched roof. It caught fire too and burned down. Only the foundations and cellar remain at the forest landing site.
